ARTIFASCIA® DURAL GRAFT Shows Positive Results IN Clinical Trial

Nurami Medical’s ArtiFascia® is a surgical patch for healing the Dura after neurosurgeries, and is the first nanofiber-based patch that combines two functions. Firstly, its porous nanofiber structure provides a scaffold which helps Dura regeneration and faster healing. Secondly, the patch is integrated with a temperature-sensitive, viscoelastic, non-porous barrier film that helps prevent CSF leakage and eliminate the need to apply a liquid sealant during surgery. In a multi-center clinical trial of 85 patients, ArtiFascia® successfully achieved all endpoints, preventing leakages and showing non-inferiority to the tested commercially available alternatives.

NOVAFIBREX™ SURGICAL ADHESIVE SEALANT

NovaFibreX synthetic surgical adhesive and sealant is designed for healing of the digestive system after surgery. Internal leakage leads to poor recovery and is common in up to 30% of cases (for example, bariatric, hepato-biliary and pancreatic). Complications include infection, sepsis and abscesses, which lead to prolonged hospitalization and mortality rates of up to 3%. NovaFibreX™ is designed to withstand the harsh conditions that prevent rapid healing of the digestive system after surgery and will help reduce complications.

ARTIFIX® Innovative suture-less adhesive patch

ArtiFix® is comprised of electrospun fibers and a safe tissue adhesive polymer. The fibers sre desgined to provide a scaffold for a rapid tissue regeneration while the adhesive polymer helps ensure robust tissue adhesion until tissue recovery is achieved. ArtiFix®will be used as a Dural graft or a general soft tissue repair patch. ArtiFix®will soon enter preclinical trials.
