Former CEO of Elron Electronic Industries (Nasdaq ELRNF &TASE), Doron Birger is a leading executive with an extensive background in international management and startup guidance. He is the former chairman, and a board member of Given Imaging (NASDAQ and TASE) as well as the chairman and board member of several Israeli technology companies.
Hannoch Marksheid is a seasoned manager, with over 25 years of experience in managing entrepreneurial ventures in multi-cultural environments including biotechnological startups. Hannoch brings extensive experience in senior and executive management, fundraising, and global business development. He is an expert in strategic planning, process implementation and program development with extensive experience in fundraising from angels, corporates, corporate funds, and the venture capital community, as well as in raising non-diluting grants and debt instruments. He is the former founder and CEO of BioCEP, an innovative biomedical company, and B-Control, a boutique consultancy for high-growth companies. Hannoch holds a PhD in economics and business management.
Nora Nseir is a biomedical engineer, highly experienced in developing and leading development of nanofiber based medical devices, biomaterials, nanotechnology and regenerative medicine. Prior to co-founding Nurami Medical, she held leading R&D positions in the medical devices industry focusing on the development of bone grafts and hemostatic devices.
Nora co-founded the Arab Women in Science non-profit forum, which advances and encourages Arab women and girls in sciences, technology and entrepreneurship. She is also an active volunteer in social ventures that promote entrepreneurship among students from the Israeli periphery.
Nora holds an M.Sc. in in biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology). In 2017 and 2018, Nora was included in Globes “Women of Influence” list.
Dr. Amir Bahar is a multidisciplinary entrepreneur and neuroscientist with over 20 years of experience in preclinical models of brain research, pharmacology and electrophysiology. Amir brings extensive experience in the medical device industry with a focus on degradable implants and nanofibers. He is highly experienced in leading R&D in medical devices, degradable implants and nanofibers. Prior to co-founding Nurami Medical, he led the development of a novel hemostatic degradable implant. Amir received his Ph.D. in neurobiology from the Weizmann Institute and won a NARSAD Young Investigator Award (2008).
Nizar Mishael has been the CFO for NGT incubator’s portfolio companies since 2006. Nizar manages the finances of these companies with strong leadership, closely following the budget. He takes an active role with follow-on funding and handling complex investment transactions as well as making sure the portfolio companies receive the maximum support possible from government programs. Nizar is a certified CPA and holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University’s Recanati program.
Rodaina Omar is highly experienced in QA and in the development of bio-material scaffolds and bio-mimetic matrices for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. Rodaina is responsible for product development and managing Nurami Medical’s quality system and R&D department. She has supported several research projects where she gained advanced experience in the electrospinning technology. Rodaina holds a B.Sc. in Food and Biotechnology Engineering from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) where she specialized in Quality Engineering; and an M.Sc. (MED) with distinction in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where she specialized in the development of bio-material scaffolds and bio-mimetic matrices for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications.

Jenny Krupko is a clinical specialist with over 9 years of experience in running and managing clinical studies in the pharmaceutical and medical devices fields. Jenny holds a B.A. in Molecular Biochemistry from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) and a Clinical Research Associate diploma. She has been involved in the execution of various clinical studies in different clinical domains including gastroenterology, neurology and pulmonary arterial hypertension. Jenny has held several positions in her fields of expertise, including Clinical Trial Assistant, Clinical Trials Lead and Clinical Trials Manager.
Dr. Chen-Zion has over two decades of experience in the fields of regulatory affairs, pre-clinical research and clinical trials of medical devices. In her many years of activity, Dr. Chen-Zion has held various management positions. Since 2004 she has been consulting various companies in diverse fields, including cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, dentistry, neurology, gastroenterology, and others. From 2011 to 2015 Dr. Chen-Zion taught graduate students in the department of Biotechnology Engineering at Ort Braude College. She earned a Ph.D. in Biology with highest distinction from Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
Dr. Milbaum graduated from the Sackler Medical School at Tel Aviv University in 1996 and also holds a bachelor degree in material science and engineering from Ben Gurion University. He is an active surgeon at the Meir Medical Center with extensive experience in trauma and emergency medicine, and teaches surgery at the University of Ariel Medical School. Dr. Milbaum has over 15 years’ experience as a Medical Director in the medical device industry. He has managed and conducted several pre-clinical and clinical studies in a variety of medical fields including for a class III device. He has also co-founded medical device startup companies, bringing valuable experience from these ventures.
Prof. Schulder serves as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery and Director of the Brain Tumor Center at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, Manhasset, NY.
Dr. Schulder has been named as one of the top doctors in the New York metropolitan area annually for over a decade. In addition, he is an internationally recognized expert in the use of stereotactic methods to treat patients with brain tumors.
Prof. Schulder has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, 31 abstracts, 17 book chapters and over 200 presentations at national and international meetings. He has received the Leonard Tow Award for Humanism in Medicine and has been elected to the Gold Humanism Honors Society.
Dr. Henry Brem is the Harvey Cushing Professor of Neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins University, Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, and Neurosurgeon-in-Chief. He is a professor of Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Biomedical Engineering and co-leads the Brain Cancer Program for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Dr. Brem has built collaborative neurosurgical programs in the Washington Capital region and facilitated Hopkins Neurosurgery programs in many countries throughout the world.
Dr. Brem has revolutionized surgical treatment of brain tumors by introducing new approaches for targeted therapy. He developed new classes of polymers and microchips for drug delivery that are custom synthesized for the agent being developed. The polyanhydrides, which were the first new treatments for brain tumors that the FDA had approved in 23 years, have been shown in his laboratory to be biocompatible and potent.
Professor Kaye is Professor of Surgery, Head of the Department of Surgery (RMH) at The University of Melbourne and Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is also the President of the Asian Australasian Society of Neurological Surgeons. Prof. Kaye is the foundation Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Neuroscience. He has authored and co-authored over 150 journal articles and book chapters, as well as five books including “Brain Tumors” (co-author), a text recognized as being the definitive work on the subject.
Dr. Harnof is a senior neurosurgeon and the Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Rabin Medical Center, Petach Tikwa, the 3rd largest hospital in Israel. He specializes in cerebral-vasculature and in brain tumors surgeries. Dr. Harnof received his M.D. from Tel-Aviv University. He is involved in many pre-clinical and clinical studies in several fields, as well as in various research projects at different research centers in the EU and the US.
Prof. Zussman has been at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology since 1994. He received his doctor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from the Technion. His research includes polymer processing, electrospinning, and materials characterization. Prof. Zussman has been active in biomedical applications aiming at developing dental membranes, biodegradable extra cellular matrix (ECM), and drug delivery systems all based on electrospun fibers. He has published more than 100 journal publications and holds over 10 patents.
