A new research on neural tissue tolerance to synthetic dural mater graft implantation has now been published in the Journal of Toxicologic Pathology!
Titled “Neural tissue tolerance to synthetic dural mater graft implantation in a rabbit durotomy model”, our study evaluates the safety of ArtiFascia, our synthetic dura mater graft, in a rabbit model. In neurosurgery, ensuring proper closure of the dura mater is crucial for preventing complications.

The findings show no damage to the underlying brain tissue, confirming the safety of ArtiFascia. The article’s approach, aligned with FDA guidelines, sets a benchmark for assessing biodegradable materials in dura graft applications.
